Cortona3D's Journey in China's Tech Landscape

This autumn, the Cortona3D team embarked on a significant journey, visiting its esteemed partner and reseller in China, Shanghai Dingge Information Technology. This visit was part of a broader agenda that included attending the China International Industry Fair (CIIF) and engaging with existing customers in China. Below, we delve into the key highlights of this enriching experience.

Dingge Information Technology is a recognized Chinese high-tech enterprise that offers consulting, planning, customized development, and implementation services for manufacturers in various industries. The company became a reseller of the Cortona3D software in 2021. The face-to-face interaction allowed us to explore collaborative opportunities and integration possibilities between Cortona3D RapidAuthor and the Content Management System developed by the partner. We believe that such visits play a crucial role in fortifying partnerships, and gaining a better understanding of the Chinese market, its unique business dynamics, and the visionary perspectives of its people.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Dingge Information Technology for extending the invitation and providing invaluable assistance during our visit to Shanghai and Shenzhen. 3D interactive technical data is more visualized, making it easier to convert technical knowledge into engineering skills. At the same time, it can significantly reduce the cost and understanding errors of translating Chinese into other languages, effectively helping Chinese enterprises to enter the international market faster. CIIF is a hub for the latest advancements in industrial automation and digital manufacturing. The presentation of the RapidAuthor solution, which included content for Augmented Reality and was conducted by Alexander Grafov, VP of Business Development at Cortona3D, aroused strong interest among the exhibition visitors.

Participation in CIIF provided a unique opportunity for Cortona3D to connect with numerous manufacturing companies in China. It offered insights into China's economic landscape and the developmental trends outlined by the government.

Chinese companies are actively embracing new technologies to solidify their market positions. The adoption of digital twin technology, including 3D interactive service and maintenance documentation, stands out as a promising direction. Such documentation proves to be a cost-effective and time-saving solution for manufacturers utilizing Cortona3D tools. They help companies produce competitive modern technical documentation, aligning seamlessly with the requirements of high-tech products. This becomes especially pertinent as these products are offered both for domestic and foreign markets accompanied by comprehensive service and maintenance support.

We appreciate Alexander Grafov's participation in the China Industrial Expo. He helped us to explain the Cortona3D solution to our clients and interacted with them for a whole week. This is our company's first time participating in such kind of exhibition. Alex’s exhibition experience was a great benefit to us; Then, together with Alex we visited some leading aviation and automotive  manufacturers and provided them with professional and detailed explanations of RapidAuthor products. Our clients are also very interested in RapidAuthor. During this period, we had deep communication and exchange with Alex on new functions and the future development direction of RapidAuthor, which greatly enhanced our understanding of RapidAuthor components and strengthened our confidence in continuously promoting Cortona3D products to the Chinese market.

During the trip to China, we made important connections with both potential and current clients. Visits to existing customers provided valuable examples and insights into the practical application of Cortona3D tools in real-world scenarios.
