Restoring Custom Projects lost from a Demo Working Space after RapidAuthor Re-Install

To restore your custom projects, please perform the following steps:

  • Launch RapidAdministrator (Start > All Programs > RapidAuthor > RapidAdministrator);
  • Expand the required demo working space and click Projects;
  • Click Deleted Projects;
  • Select the projects you would like to restore (by holding down the CTRL key); and
  • Click Restore.

To open the restored project, open the tool you used to work with (RapidCatalog, RapidManual or RapidLearning) and go to File > Open Project.

To prevent data loss after RapidAuthor re-install, it is recommended that you create your own working spaces to keep your projects in.
