RapidManual Arbortext Plug-in provides an easy to use, intuitive framework that allows authors to easily create interactive manuals, both 3D animation and associated text simultaneously.

 

Easy Authoring Process 

1.   Author has the option to insert different types of figures including 3D. If this option is selected, RapidManual is automatically launched 

2.   In the integrated production environment, the author has direct access from his XML editor to optimised graphics imported from engineering and design CAD data (RapidManual supports all major systems) and can:     

   a. View the figure in the 3D window, as well as its parts and assemblies 

   b. Rotate, zoom, move / hide pieces, add notes, measurements and study it just like a  real piece of equipment

   c. Create 3D animations, from a library of predefined simplified English animation actions such as: ‘loosen/tighten’, ‘connect/ disconnect’

   d. Choose an action timeline, modify his point of view, make parts flash or invisible 

3.   The finished project is automatically integrated into the XML tool, in which the user can launch the 3D animation and follow it step by step, or interact with the 3D figure, zoom in or out.
